Waiting period begins and following day I get an email stating the item was shipped when I did not want it now! I call again and they said now I have to return the item to get my refund. I tell them to cancel it and get me the full refund but they refused to until a team lead reviewed which requires 72 hours. I call and they said they cannot refund the full amount and I have to pay for sales tax for an item I did not even see.

Then next morning I get an email saying that this was cancelled. Delivery was delayed so called and was told by apple rep to wait until evening. I took of work to get this laptop when told it was at the store, and it wasn’t. Now apple wants to expedite shipping of an empty box…Awesome! It will have to be reordered. FedEx, another multi- billion dollar company, never informed anyone of this problem. I call FedEx and was told the the box is damaged and no contents were in the box. Am I the only person in the entire world who has made a custom order with Apple!?!?Multi-billion dollar company and there is this much confusion? Finally I get a tracking number and it’s sitting in TN go past 4 days. A few more calls to find out what’s going on and I’m made to feel like this delay is my fault because of a custom order. The worker could see on his screen that it does say “ready for pickup”, but I left empty handed and very disappointed. I even call support, had them on speakerphone and they said the same thing… it’s there waiting for pick up. I go to the store in person and is met with someone who is not happy to be working. On the phone Apple tells me that my laptop is ready to be picked up, it’s at the store. I have recently experienced quite a few condescending employees while inquiring about my expensive purchase. I finally customized a MacBook Pro and have been waiting patiently for it. I have always loved apple until this past order.
